ECOSOC: Youth Unemployment is considered to be one of the central economic and development issues that UN has committed to improve under the Sustainable Development Goals agenda. In the times of deficient demand and stressed capital and labour markets, structural employment problems arise such as the one of youth unemployment. The situation is however more complex, and there are many factors that influence the overall situation on labour markets for youngsters. Education, culture and other determinants of each one of the unique labour prospects are subject to every member state of the ECOSOC and thus need to be considered in further decision making. Henceforth I encourage all of you delegates to take into deep consideration the differences and similarities between the countries. I wish you have nice time doing your research and I am looking forward to the meeting!
